The BIATECH Institute is an independent nonprofit biomedical research organization.

Mission
To discover and model the molecular mechanisms of biological processes using cutting edge high-throughput technologies and computational analyses, and acquire new knowledge to improve Human Health and Environment.

Research Focus
To apply integrative interdisciplinary OMICS approaches to the study of model microorganisms, and to advance our knowledge of their cellular behavior and responses.

Abilities to improve Environment and Human Health
BIATECH will use approaches, such as genome-wide gene, protein, and metabolite expression complemented with mutagenesis, biochemical, and physiological experiments. Integration and analysis of these multivariate data will be implemented through comprehensive computations, including bioinformatics, statistics, and mathematical modeling. The deeper knowledge of cellular behavior and responses will enable The BIATECH Institute to develop improvements to Human Health and Environmental concerns.
